They have a great variety of shrubs, tree's including fruit trees. I have purchased fruit trees and blueberry bushes multiple times now, and have not been disappointed! I highly recommend!!

It was worth the drive out there from Lexington 2 months ago. Their plants/trees were healthy and bursting with blooms and even young produce - still growing strong today. Very polite, friendly, and excellent prices! Also learned that the local FFA has teamed up with them. Awesome! We will be back!!

I have been using local boy nursery as my go to for every home I fix up and flip. In the past 3 years they have grown so much. Their plant selection is awesome but also the PRICES!! In this economy it’s worth the 2 hour drive to get my plants.

I have bought over 1100 trees from Trent. My mother in law has gotten 100 from him. No problems out of any of them. None has died and I've had them over 2 yrs now. Take care of your trees and they will live. U can't plant and not water them.

Really enjoyed this nursery. A young boy (around 15-16) helped us out and he was amazing! He was soooo sweet and answered all my questions. They have amazing deals on trees! I will definitely be getting my fruit trees from here from now on! Highly recommend:)

We had our new addition landscaped by Trent and his crew. He completed the job very quickly just the way I had hoped for a reasonable price. Trent is good at listening to the customers wishes, and making suggestions about plantings that fit within a budget and work with the setting.

We had been looking locally everywhere for a particular variety of thornless blackberry bush, couldn't find it until we went to Local Boy Nursery. The prices were competitive and our blackberries are happily growing in the ground.

Local Boy Nursery update: Close to the end of the year 2024, we were looking for an Asian pear, we stopped in Local Boy Nursery and once again they had what we needed. Love this nursery, it is a definite recommendation from this Local Google Guide!!

Great visit this morning to Local Boy Nursery. Brooke helped me select just the right shrubs for my new house and worked within my budget. Wonderful to get a small-town level of service you don’t get at the Big Box stores. Lots more to do in my yard so I’ll be back!

Contacted about Rabbiteye blueberry bushes via Marketplace and Brooke held them for me. Trent was very informative about Holly cultivars and ordering live oak trees. The inventory was extensive, super healthy, and very fairly priced.

I just purchased 27 trees and shrubs from Local Boy Nursery and they are absolutely gorgeous. Brooke was extremely helpful, not only with the selections, but advising us on the best way to plant them, location, soil information and more. Our new trees and shrubs are healthy and thriving after the first week. We will be giving all our business to Local Boy from now on. Highly recommend!

I will never go to another nursery again! I know nothing about plants or landscaping and have visited several nurseries in the area, only to leave feeling like I had to choose between sending my kid to college or landscaping our house. Brooke at Local Boy is so knowledgeable, gave me incredible recommendations that wouldn't break the bank, and offered to come out to the house to give me a free estimate on the rest. Their prices are already WAY more affordable than any other place I've been, but she said they would also work with me on the price. They earned a customer for life today! So happy to have them in the area!

First time shopper at Local Boy nursery and was very impressed! After looking at all the local Home and garden big box stores I found the plants at local boy were well priced and far superior and the help was exceptional! I will definitely be returning 😃

The hubby and I love this place! The owner is always helpful whenever we go! She understands that i have a history of murdering plants and helped me to find ones that will look great all year round, flower sometimes and I can actually keep alive! The prices are great and the plants are thriving in my yard! We pass at least 7 other nurseries to come to this one!!!
